Born in 1999 in the old wine cellars in Massanova, this was the original red wine. The name is dedicated to the locality that hosts the vineyard and the old wine cellar. Initially it was produced using only Sangiovese grapes but despite being a success, as of 2012 this wine has been made using Cabernet Sauvignon grapes too in order to improve and complete the characteristics of the cornerstone of our small company.
Its ruby colour with garnet touches has an elegant bouquet with enchanting underwood fragrances and infused flowers, balsamic hints, prune preserve and fruits of the forest.
It has an elegant flavour with a silky tannin weave enveloped in spiced balsamic emotions with a lasting, balanced finale. This wine is only produced during optimal years.
