This wine was conceived in 2004 from Amedeo’s desire to vinify solely Montepulciano grapes with a rewardingly long fermentation and slow maturation in barriques. The wine produced reflects the history and character of Senise greatly, for this reason it was given the name of the city that hosts the vineyards and the wine cellar. This wine is produced during optimal years.
There is an intense ruby colouring, a complex bouquet of fragrances such as liquorice, tabacco, cocao, cinchona and small red berries. Its flavour is full and balanced with decisive tannins that integrate well with a mineral savoury taste wrapped in an alcoholic softness.
